Disney on Ice, Sister Time, Workouts & MORE

Hello lovelies!

Happy Monday to you all.

I woke up feeling really good this morning-- even though I had a minor curve ball thrown at me. Ha! (Y'all will roll your eyes at me when I tell you what it was...) My blow-dryer wouldn't work! AH! Now, most girls would probably just roll with the punches and go with their natural hair... But this girl can't do that! For real-- my hair looks like I stuck my hand in an electrical socket if I don't blow dry and straighten it. Thanks to my husband for rolling out of bed to save the day! ;)

Anyways, how about a weekend recap? Let's get started!

Saturday morning I woke up pretty early to start getting ready to head to Little Rock. I met my mum at her house and headed out around 9AM. Mom and I found the perfect country station on the way up-- it had a mixture of old and new country...We loved every minute of it! When we got to LR, we picked up my sister and her mother-n-law and headed to a super tasty Mexican restaurant called "Cilantros Grill." From the outside, it didn't look like it would be anything special but the inside was SUPER pretty. And the fact that it had amazing food was a plus too, of course! (I could kick myself in the foot for not getting any pictures of the inside-- the place had a huge brick fireplace! It was so nice!)

After lunch, my sister and I walked around to a few of the shops that were near by. Not only was I super happy to be hanging out with my sis but the weather was SO beautiful that day... I could have stayed outside forever! <3

After shopping, we loaded back up in the car and headed to the Verizon Arena to see 'Disney on Ice.' My sister has been wanting to go and see this show for a really long time so I'm glad we finally got to go. When we first got inside, we could smell the aroma of funnel cakes and cinnamon roasted almonds... so of course we made our way to get both! Ha!
(I totally forgot to get a picture of the funnel cake... I might have devoured it as soon as I got it! Heh.)

Y'all, we had amazing seats...
Love her so freaking much! (I also got to wear my new Express jeans... They were super comfortable!)

The show started out with 'Tory Story' and then moved on to 'The Little Mermaid', 'Cars', & finished up with 'Frozen'. I've always LOVED ice skating so I was in heaven. All the of spins and twirls... SO cool! I wasn't able to get many decent photos during the show... but here's a look at the soldiers from 'Toy Story.'
(Pretty cool, right?)

We left LR around 5:00 and headed back to Fort Smith! Although I had so much fun hanging out with my sissy, I was ready to get home and see the hubs. When I got home, Tyler and I decided to go out to dinner and hang out for a bit. The weather was PERFECT so we drove with the top down and headed to Grubs.

I'm not a huge fan of Grub's but we wanted to go somewhere that we could sit outside and enjoy the beautiful weather....

After we got done eating, we decided to drive the car downtown. There was some kind of motorcycle event going on so we just drove around and people watched! Ha! ;)

Sunday we woke up and went grocery shopping and hit the gym! I am 100% back on track with my health and fitness and I am feeling super motivated. Tyler and I both worked legs... I'll be honest, it wasn't a very good workout for either of us. We both did NOT want to be at the gym but we pushed through anyways.
(Pretty much did deadlifts the entire workout...whoops!)

The rest of the evening was pretty relaxed and chilled. We meal prepped and watched a few episodes of 'The Office.' SO FUNNY!

That brings us to today... Oh my! Today was busssssy. However, it was super productive. I got a ton of work done and have been SPOT ON with my macros:
(That's what I call satisfaction... Heh!)

Before heading to the gym after work, I came home and ate a quick salad as my pre-workout meal... It was SUPER tasty:

I did a quick shoulder and tricep workout and Tyler worked chest:
(Werk, werk, werk...)

Now, I am home and about to make burgers (sliders) for dinner! But before I sign off for the night, I wanted to share the book I'm currently reading:
(Obviously, I got sucked in by the cute title and super adorable cover... but it's actually a pretty good book so far!)

Anyways, I hope you all have a fantastic week! I have a feeling good things are going to happen! :)

Love always,

"So, what if, instead of thinking about solving your whole life, you just think about adding additional good things. One at a time. Just let your pile of good things grow."

(Old school but I heard this on the way to work this morning and I had forgotten how much I love it!)

(I am absolutely LOVING this song right now. Probably one of my favs playing on the radio. Dustin Lynch is perrrf.)
