Chris Stapleton, Work, Eats & Fay-Town

Hello lovlies!

I hope you all had a fabulous work week! Mine was...tiresome! Ha! I DID get a new computer though so that made me extremely happy. There were days this week that I was so busy though, I found myself sweating because I was working so hard and fast. (Um, #gross?) However, I've found that listening to my jazz pandora station seems to help me stay focused and more relaxed when I start getting stressed out.
(Sometimes I seriously think I was born in the wrong music era! Does anyone else love this style of music as much as I do?)

I have also REALLY been loving this drink from Starbucks this week! I think I have gotten it every single day. The lady that works the window knows me by name now! It's a passion fruit tea with strawberry refresher instead of water. (I also ask for them not to put the extra sugar that they usually put in it.) It's SO good! You gotta give it a try!

Thursday I worked 6:30 to 2:30 and then we headed to Tulsa to see Chris Stapleton! Before the concert, we ate at Cheesecake factory per usual. ;)
(Those fried mac-n-cheese balls are my favvvvv. <3)

Y'all, this was the best concert I have ever been to-- and that says a lot. If you know me at all, you know I love John Mayer and have always said he puts on the best concerts... Well as much as I still love John, Chris Stapleton put on one heck of a show. I was telling Tyler, there's something about country/blues artists. I can appreciate a "production" at times (pop/R&B/rock/etc.) but when a long bearded man in a cowboy hat can get up on a stage with just him and his guitar, a bass player, and a drummer-- no fancy looking stage (or huge production going on) and totally bring me to tears, you know that's RAW talent. Plain and simple! He also seemed like a legit humble person, which I can admire.

Friday morning I slept in (to 11:00 if I'm being honest) and it felt amazing! When I finally got out of bed, we got ready and headed up to Fayetteville to spend the day. We ate at "Hammontree's Grilled Cheese" and had a yummy lunch. I introduced Tyler to the Gouda and bacon sweet potato fries. They are the bomb!
(I had the Ozark Monte Cristo... I would high recommend!)

After lunch, we walked around downtown until it started pouring rain! We ran back to the car and headed to check out Guitar Center and get some ice cream.
(I want a record player so bad! I took a picture of all these records while we were at Guitar Center and it made me want one even more!)

Before we headed back home, we stopped by Whole Foods (one of my favorite places in the world...heh.) to get a couple of snacks! I've been wanting to try "Kombucha" for a while now so I finally picked some up. I'll let you know my thoughts on it! ;)
(We got stuck in traffic on the way home so we tried the apple slices and pineapple pieces... They are both delicious!)

As for today, I went and got my eyebrows sugared, we had lunch with my parents and we picked out some paint samples to try on the walls before we make the big decision! I plan on spending the rest of the day curled up in my big ol' leopard chair and watching Gilmore Girls. ;)

I hope you all have a great weekend... What's left of it that is! <3

Love always,
Charity
XOXO
