A Note For Anyone Who Will Listen...

Hello lovelies!

Last night we had the deadliest shooting in U.S. history and I can honestly say this disaster has affected me in ways I never thought it would. Seeing all of those innocent people lose their lives because of pure evil lets me know that we truly are living in the last days. I know some may not "believe" or even try to say people have said that for years, but I truly don't think we have much longer here on this earth. And although that will be an exciting time for those of us who are ready to go, I can't help but think about all the lives that will be lost--All of the people last night that may not have been ready to meet the Lord. Those people who were just spending a normal evening at a concert, partying it up or living in sin because they thought they had all the time in the world to make better decisions at some other point down the road. And just like that--in a split second, they were gone. My heart has been heavy all day long-- to the point I've actually made myself sick. (Literally!) All I can think about is how I hope those people somehow found forgiveness before they left this earth. I think about my friends and family that may be lost and all I want to do is get on my knees and beg them to turn their lives over to Jesus. I am to the point where I DO NOT CARE what people may say about me-- make fun all you want. I will make sure I do everything in my power to make sure the ones I love are ready.

I'm going to be taking a break from social media for the next few weeks. I have been reading news reports, Facebook posts and (some) utter nonsense for most of the day. My heart can't take any more sadness right now. My main goal is to live in the moment because life is so very short. It could end in a split second! I intend on taking the next few weeks to "be present" and appreciate the ones I love so very much. I encourage you to do the same-- hug the ones you love tight and let every single ounce of hatred or bitterness go.

My pastor preached on this yesterday: There IS a Heaven and there IS a Hell. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE search your heart and make a decision to follow Christ if you haven't done so already! I beg of you! He SO wants for you to spend eternity with Him!

Love always,
Charity
