A Lovely Weekend: Family Time, Shopping, Gun Shooting + More

Hello lovelies and Happy Monday!

This past week/weekend has been great! My sister and brother-n-law were in town and it's always a good time when they are here. Before I start the weekend recap though, I thought I would share a few of the fall pictures that Tyler and I had taken a few weeks ago.

We absolutely loved using Lexi Eads Photography and I would highly recommend her! <3

Let's get back in to the recap shall we?  This past week was filled with some pretty awesome workouts... KILLER workouts! There were days that I just got to the gym and worked my butt off and it felt so good.
On Friday, I went to lunch with some of my friends from work... We hit up Buffalo Wild Wings and it was pretty tasty. (That place is always so hit and miss for me... Am I the only one?)
After work on Friday, we met my parents, sister and brother-n-law at Texas Roadhouse to celebrate my sister's birthday. (We didn't get to see her on her actual birthday)
After dinner, we headed to the movie theatre and watched the new 'Thor" movie... I had never seen any of them so I didn't know what to expect. However, I REALLY enjoyed it... It made me laugh a lot!

Saturday morning I woke up and headed to one of my favorite coffee shops, The Fort Smith Coffee Company, to work on some upcoming blog posts...
I felt like switching it up a bit and blogging from somewhere other than my living room. I have to say, I was digging it! They had Christmas decorations up, some pretty groovy music playing and the vibe was so chilled. I sipped on a spiced chai latte, got some work done and also chatted with a couple cool people sitting next to me for a bit. I may have to start doing that every Saturday!
Once I got done there, I headed to lunch with Tyler and Logan (my brother-n-law) at the Gyro restaurant... Yum!

After lunch, we met up with my dad and sister at Vargas Fruteria to try out some of their yummy looking desserts.

Once we got our sugar-high, my sister and I headed to the mall while the boys headed back to the house to play video games! This picture made me laugh... teehee. #sorrynotsorry
Later that evening, we headed to my parents house to eat dinner. My mom made spaghetti and we chilled around the house for a few hours before heading home.

Sunday morning, we woke up and headed to church. Our pastor is preaching on the subject "It Is a Wonderful Life" this month. He's basing the sermons on different scene's from the movie. It's been really good so far!

After church, we grabbed a bite to eat, went home and changed and headed to Mansfield to shoot guns with a few people from my work. (Matt and Jamie) Jamie's dad owns a ton of land and has an awesome set-up of targets. I haven't shot in 10+ years and not only that, this was my second time EVER shooting in my life. I was extremely nervous but I wound up being pretty good at it. I was surprised! #southerngirlnomatterwhat
This sign that they had on their property made me laugh...
After we got done shooting, Tyler and I came home and meal prepped for the week. The rest of the evening was spent watching T.V. and relaxing before the week ahead.

Oh! And before I sign off... I just have to say congrats to my Alabama Crimson Tide for making it to the playoffs. I've been getting so much crap about them not making the SEC championship, it felt good to come back and say ROLL TIDE to all of those lovely people. Heehee. ;)

I hope you all have a great week!

Love always,
Charity
XOXO

"Sometimes you just have to turn the page to realize there is more to your book of life than the page you're stuck on. Stop being afraid to move on. Close this chapter of hurt, and never re-read it again. It's time to get what your life deserves, and move on from the things that don't deserve you. Don't spend your days trying to correct your past, instead, let go and let God create something better for your future."
